Wayne Brantley

Wayne is a retired high school history teacher and football coach with thirty years of experience. Throughout his career, he has been honored with several awards for teaching excellence. Wayne has a degree in History and loves the Revolution and Civil War eras. 

Blake Jones

Blake is a lifelong Savannahian with a great passion for the city and its rich history. Blake graduated from Calvary Day School here in Savannah and Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. Blake is a local dentist who loves sharing stories about Savannah and the Old South! 

Christy Cook

Christy Cook is a native of Michigan that moved south for college. She has an education degree from Auburn University. War Eagle! Christy is happily married with two children and three grandchildren. She has lived and worked in Savannah for 31 years. She loves Savannah and the history of our great city!

Tanaya Farr

Tanaya is a veteran tour guide in Savannah with more than twenty years of experience. She has a great passion and enthusiasm for showing her love of The Hostess City. Her favorite parts of Savannah history deal with “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil” and The Revolutionary War period. Tanaya is one of the top “Ghost Tour” guides in Savannah and is a popular choice among tourists and locals!

Wes Worthington

Wes loves history and Savannah! He has been a part of the local community for twenty years and has served in two of our local high schools. In addition to his duties at Wise Guys, Wes is a teacher and coach at Calvary Day School. Wes teaches AP Psychology and Business and coaches football and track.

Scott Laverty

Scott holds a masters degree in education and loves teaching math! He is a career teacher and loves seeking “truth”. Scott also loves basketball and golf. He played basketball in college at Wright State in Ohio. Scott loves Savannah and Savannah history and is a great tour guide. Scott has a great knowledge of the food scene in Savannah!
